Outdoor Exhibition
During the 6-week period of the biennial the public space will work as the interface between artists and audiences, creating a highly active environment within the urban area of the city. Within this context established by the exhibition, all parties, artists and audiences must decide how they want to behave in relation to the event. Artists have been selected who use strategies in their art making that playfully break with assumed rules for public behaviour in order to point our attention to aspects of our contemporary existence. Working across a range of media often employing strategies familiar to activist and political groups with comic as well as critical resolution
